We are very excited to inform you about a new program that we think your teachers will get very excited about also. We are going to set aside 1% of our Interchange Income from debit card purchases into a scholarship fund for teachers. Teachers will be able to apply for grants quarterly for special projects that they cannot get funded through other sources. Teachers may apply for grants up to $500. The applications will be reviewed by a committee selected by our Board of Directors. The teachers will be asked to take pictures or document in some other way how the funds encouraged students to learn.
The more our members use their debit card the bigger the grant fund will grow, allowing us to give more grants to the teachers!
